Mississippi High School Basketball - New Hope edges Itawamba Agricultural

The New Hope Trojans (Columbus, MS) basketball nipped the visiting Itawamba Agricultural Indians (Fulton, MS), 37-35 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Trojans (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Hernando (Hernando, MS). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, Hernando got by New Albany (New Albany, MS), 65-22, in a non-league test.
The Indians now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to South Pontotoc for a non-league test on Saturday, December 2. Itawamba Agricultural will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 54-29 non-league loss to Lafayette (Oxford, MS). The Cougars record now stands at 7-2.
