South Carolina High School Basketball - Lake Marion tops Scott's Branch

Lake Marion Gators (Santee, SC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Scott's Branch Eagles (Summerton, SC), 35-18 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lake Marion upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Gators host Branchville (Branchville, SC) to play the Yellow Jackets in a non-league bout on Friday, December 1. The Yellow Jackets come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Branchville lost 56-0 in their recent non-league bout against North (North, SC)

Next up, the Eagles play the Manning Monarchs (Manning, SC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Scott's Branch will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Monarchs come into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 52-23 non-league loss to Kingstree (Kingstree, SC).
