The Centralia Orphans (Centralia, IL) basketball crushed the visiting Althoff Catholic Crusaders (Belleville, IL), 61-35 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Orphans now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Althoff Catholic for a non-league test on Friday, December 5.
The Crusaders (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Mater Dei (Breese, IL). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Mater Dei was routed by Columbia (Columbia, IL), 62-50, in a non-league challenge.
