Arizona High School Basketball - Palo Verde knocks off Corona del Sol

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Palo Verde Titans (Tucson, AZ) and the host Corona del Sol Aztecs (Tempe, AZ), observed Palo Verde's basketball team overcome Corona del Sol by a margin of 54-44.

The Titans (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Cholla (Tucson, AZ). The Chargers enter the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Cholla thwarted Canyon del Oro (Tucson, AZ), 68-57, in a non-league match.

The Aztecs now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Millennium for a 6A Central contest on Monday, December 1. Corona del Sol will battle a Tigers team coming off a 73-56 non-league win over Orem (Orem, UT). The Tigers record now stands at 3-1.
