In Friday's non-league test, the Booker Tornadoes (Sarasota, FL) basketball squad knocked off the host Sumner Stingrays (Riverview, FL), by a score of 62-54.

The Tornadoes now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Balboa for a non-league bout on Saturday, November 29. Booker will play a Bengals team coming off a 74-41 league win over Jordan Christian Prep (Auburndale, FL). The Bengals record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Sumner falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Stingrays host Varsity Opponent (, ) to play the in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 29. The go into the bout with a record of 16-74. Varsity Opponent lost 65-15 in their recent non-league test against Faith Lutheran (Las Vegas, NV)
