The Woodside Wolverines (Newport News, VA) basketball knocked off the host Kecoughtan Warriors (Hampton, VA), 57-40 in Tuesday's league test.
The Wolverines (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Hampton (Hampton, VA). The Crabbers go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Hampton notched a victory over Gloucester (Gloucester, VA), 71-21, in a league test.
The Warriors now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Heritage for a Peninsula test on Friday, December 2. Kecoughtan will encounter a Hurricanes squad coming off a 79-47 league win over Denbigh (Newport News, VA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 1-0.
