Lakeview Wildcats (Lakeview, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Merrill Vandals (Merrill, MI), 44-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lakeview upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Wildcats host Beal City (Mt. Pleasant, MI) to play the Aggies in a non-league bout on Wednesday, November 30. The Aggies go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Vandals play the St. Charles Bulldogs (St. Charles, MI) in a Mid-State bout, on Friday, December 2. Merrill will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
