The New Iberia Yellowjackets basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Pineville Rebels to 36 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West St. Mary for a non-league contest on Wednesday, November 30. New Iberia will battle a Wolfpack team coming off a 64-63 non-league loss to Newman (New Orleans, LA). The Wolfpack record now stands at 1-2.

The Rebels (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Jena (Jena, LA). The Giants enter the non-league contest with a 1-4 record.
