Lugoff-Elgin Demons (Lugoff, SC) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Indian Land Warriors (Fort Mill, SC), 31-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lugoff-Elgin upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Demons travel to Crestwood (Sumter, SC) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 30. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Crestwood lost 53-19 in their recent non-league bout against Orangeburg-Wilkinson (Orangeburg, SC)

Next up, the Warriors play the Rock Hill Bearcats (Rock Hill, SC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 4. Indian Land will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Bearcats go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 42-37 non-league loss to Northwestern (Rock Hill, SC).
