Kentucky High School Basketball - Newport Central Catholic knocked off by Notre Dame Academy

The Notre Dame Academy Pandas basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Newport Central Catholic Thoroughbreds to 46 in the Pandas non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Pandas now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Conner for a non-league contest on Friday, December 1. Notre Dame Academy will battle a Cougars team coming off a 53-45 non-league win over Walton-Verona (Walton, KY). The Cougars record now stands at 1-0.
The Thoroughbreds (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lloyd Memorial (Erlanger, KY). The Juggernauts enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Lloyd Memorial was defeated by Lawrenceburg (Lawrenceburg, IN), 53-42, in a non-league contest.
