The Homestead Highlanders basketball team scored 68 points and limited the host Laconia Spartans to 53 in the Highlanders non-league triumph on Friday.

The Highlanders now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Neenah for a non-league game on Saturday, November 30. Homestead will confront a Rockets team coming off a 49-44 non-league win over Marshfield (Marshfield, WI). The Rockets record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Laconia falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Spartans host Omro (Omro, WI) to confront the Foxes in a Flyway game on Tuesday, December 3. The Foxes go into the game with a record of 1-1. Omro won 56-28 in their recent non-league game against Waupaca (Waupaca, WI)
