The David Crockett Pioneers bounced the visiting Cocke County Fighting Cocks basketball team by a margin of 70-41 in Saturday's non-league game.
The Pioneers now have a 6-2 record. They play next when they host South Greene for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 2. David Crockett will confront a Rebels team coming off a 63-52 non-league win over David Crockett (Jonesborough, TN). The Rebels record now stands at 2-1.
The Fighting Cocks (3-4) will now prepare for their outing against Austin-East (Knoxville, TN). The Roadrunners enter the 3A District 3 outing with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, Austin-East routed Powell (Powell, TN), 82-48, in a non-league outing.
