Arizona High School Basketball - Globe thwarts Fairfax

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Globe Tigers (Globe, AZ) and the host Fairfax Stampede (Laveen, AZ), observed Globe's basketball team knock off Fairfax by a score of 40-24.

The Tigers (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Safford (Safford, AZ). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Safford was knocked off by Payson (Payson, AZ), 53-23, in a non-league battle.

The Stampede now own a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dishchii'bikoh for a non-league battle on Saturday, November 29. Fairfax will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 58-29 non-league loss to Joseph City (Joseph City, AZ). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-1.
