The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Van Alstyne Panthers (Van Alstyne, TX) and the visiting Life Waxahachie Mustangs (Waxahachie, TX), saw Van Alstyne's volleyball squad beat Life Waxahachie by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Van Alstyne upgrades its record to 19-22 on the year. The Panthers travel to Celina (Celina, TX) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Monday, November 6. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 31-8. Celina won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Ferris (Ferris, TX)

The Mustangs now own a 16-14 record.
