Eastland Cougars (Lanark, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Stockton Blackhawks (Stockton, IL), 51-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Eastland upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Cougars travel to Warren (Warren, IL) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Warren lost 51-41 in their recent non-league bout against Benton (Benton, WI)

Next up, the Blackhawks play the Milledgeville Missiles (Milledgeville, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 2. Stockton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Missiles go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 64-59 non-league loss to Durand (Durand, IL).
