In Thursday's non-league outing, the Highland Park Scots (Dallas, TX) basketball squad edged the host Lamar Vikings (Arlington, TX), by a count of 39-38.
The Scots (8-4) will now prepare for their outing against Connally (Waco, TX). The Cadets go into the non-league outing with a 6-4 record. In their last outing, Connally held off Keller Central (Keller, TX), 44-20, in a non-league outing.
The Vikings now hold a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Keller Central for a non-league outing on Friday, December 1. Lamar will clash with a Chargers squad coming off a 44-20 non-league loss to Connally (Waco, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 2-6.
