The Panhandle Panthers (Panhandle, TX) basketball knocked off the host Stratford Elks (Stratford, TX), 49-33 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Panthers (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Valley (Turkey, TX). The Patriots go into the non-league test with a 10-2 record.
The Elks now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Happy for a non-league test on Friday, December 1. Stratford will encounter a Cowboys squad coming off a 43-22 non-league loss to Dalhart (Dalhart, TX). The Cowboys record now stands at 3-3.
