Windham Bombers (Windham, OH) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting St. John Fighting Herald (Ashtabula, OH), 61-55 in a league bout.

With the win, Windham upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Bombers travel to Lordstown (Warren, OH) to play the Red Devils in a Northeastern - Stripes bout on Monday, December 4. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Lordstown lost 42-11 in their recent league bout against Chalker (Southington, OH)

Next up, the Fighting Herald play the Pymatuning Valley Lakers (Andover, OH) in a Northeastern - Stars bout, on Thursday, December 7. St. John will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Lakers go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 50-10 league win over Harding (Fairport Harbor, OH).
