In Thursday's non-league outing, the Willapa Valley Vikings (Menlo, WA) basketball squad edged the host Hoquiam Grizzlies (Hoquiam, WA), by a margin of 66-65.
The Vikings (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Morton/White Pass (Morton, WA). The Timberwolves go into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Morton/White Pass was tipped by La Center (La Center, WA), 65-35, in a non-league outing.
