The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Nokomis Redskins (Nokomis, IL) and the visiting Georgetown-Ridge Farm Buffaloes (Georgetown, IL), observed Nokomis's basketball team knock off Georgetown-Ridge Farm by a score of 48-39.
The Redskins (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lutheran (Springfield, IL). The Crusaders come into the MSM challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Lutheran dropped by North Mac (Virden, IL), 61-50, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Buffaloes encounter the La Salette Academy Lions (Georgetown, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 3. Georgetown-Ridge Farm will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 67-50 non-league loss to Van-Far (Vandalia, MO).
