The Fighting Cardinals (36-2) will now prepare for their contest against Edwards County (Albion, IL). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 34-4 record. In their last battle, Edwards County achieved victory over Trico (Campbell Hill, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Warriors now own a 24-13 record.
