Academy of Our Lady Penguins (Marrero, LA) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting McDonogh 35 Roneagles (New Orleans, LA), 3-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Penguins clash with the Teurlings Catholic Rebels (Lafayette, LA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, November 10. Academy of Our Lady will attempt to advance on its 3-5 season record. The Rebels come into the match with a 31-9 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Liberty Magnet (Baton Rouge, LA).
With the loss, McDonogh 35 drops to 2-4 on the campaign.
