Nebraska High School Football - Archangels Catholic toppled by Central Valley

November 7, 2025: Greeley, NE 68842

The Archangels Catholic Defenders football team (Humphrey, NE), dropped 34-20 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Central Valley Cougars (Greeley, NE)

With the win, Central Valley advances its record to 11-0 on the season. The Cougars travel to Wynot (Wynot, NE) to encounter the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Friday, November 14. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 10-1. Wynot won 43-12 in their recent non-league bout against Hitchcock County (Trenton, NE)

The Defenders now own a 9-2 record.

Congratulations to #3 Lincoln Nekoliczak (overall), #5 Luke Shoemaker (offensive), #2 Landon Shoemaker (defensive) and #25 William Pokorny (special teams) for being selected the Central Valley Football Players of the Game.
