Connecticut High School Football - Quinebaug Valley co-op nudges Cheney Tech

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Quinebaug Valley co-op Pride (Putnam, CT) and the host Cheney Tech Beavers (Manchester, CT), witnessed Quinebaug Valley co-op's football squad edge Cheney Tech by a tally of 20-13.

The Pride (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against O'Brien RVT (Ansonia, CT). The Condors enter the Connecticut Tech contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, O'Brien RVT was nudged by Prince RVT (Hartford, CT), 35-0, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Beavers confront the Bullard-Havens Tigers (Bridgeport, CT) in a Connecticut Tech contest, on Thursday, November 14. Cheney Tech will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 5-3 record after their 14-13 league win over ATI [Abbott RVT/Immaculate] (Danbury, CT).
