Mississippi High School Basketball - East Union triumphant over Amory

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the East Union Urchins (Blue Springs, MS) and the visiting Amory Panthers (Amory, MS), observed East Union's basketball team overwhelm Amory by a score of 58-28.

The Urchins (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Ashland (Ashland, MS). The Blue Devils come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Ashland was routed by Columbus Christian Academy (Steens, MS), 38-36, in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Smithville for a non-league battle on Tuesday, November 11. Amory will meet a Seminoles squad coming off a 40-34 non-league loss to Baldwyn (Baldwyn, MS). The Seminoles record now stands at 0-1.
