In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Starkville Yellowjackets basketball squad scored a nice 46-33 victory over the Biloxi Indians.
With the victory, Starkville upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Yellowjackets host Neshoba Central (Philadelphia, MS) to face the Rockets in a non-league match on Tuesday, November 11. The Rockets enter the match with a record of 2-1. Neshoba Central won 84-19 in their recent non-league match against Jefferson Davis County (Bassfield, MS)
The Indians now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pascagoula for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 11. Biloxi will confront a Panthers team coming off a 47-29 non-league loss to Pass Christian (Pass Christian, MS). The Panthers record now stands at 0-1.
