The Madison Central Jaguars nipped the visiting Hoover Buccaneers basketball team by a tally of 50-48 in Saturday's non-league game.

The Jaguars now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Gentry for a non-league game on Tuesday, November 11. Madison Central will confront a Rams team coming off a 42-16 non-league loss to Horn Lake (Horn Lake, MS). The Rams record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Hoover falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Buccaneers travel to Bob Jones (Madison, AL) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league outing on Saturday, November 15. The Patriots come into the outing with a record of 1-0.
