The Cordova Lancers basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the host Elk Grove Thundering Herd to 34 in the Lancers non-league victory on Thursday.

The Lancers now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Laguna Creek for a non-league contest on Friday, December 2. Cordova will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 65-32 non-league win over Oakmont (Roseville, CA). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-1.

The Thundering Herd (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Oakmont (Roseville, CA). The Vikings come into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Oakmont was defeated by Laguna Creek (Elk Grove, CA), 65-32, in a non-league contest.
