The Thurston Eagles basketball team (Redford, MI), was nudged 82-77 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Groves Falcons (Beverly Hills, MI)

The Falcons now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Troy for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 5. Groves will battle a Colts team coming off a 69-63 non-league loss to Berkley (Berkley, MI). The Colts record now stands at 0-1.

The Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Taylor (Taylor, MI). The Griffins come into the non-league battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Taylor was nudged by Advanced Tech Academy (Dearborn, MI), 76-69, in a non-league battle.
