The Person Rockets basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Halifax County Comets to 45 in the Rockets non-league triumph on Friday.

The Rockets now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Riverside-Durham for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8.

The Comets (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA). The Warriors enter the Piedmont contest with a 0-0 record.
