Nevada High School Basketball - Legacy crushes Cheyenne

December 1, 2023: North Las Vegas, NV 89032

Legacy Longhorns (North Las Vegas, NV) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Cheyenne Desert Shields (North Las Vegas, NV), 64-26 in a league bout.

With the win, Legacy upgrades its record to 1-5 on the season. The Longhorns travel to Somerset Academy Losee (North Las Vegas, NV) to clash with the Lions in a 4A Sky bout on Monday, December 4. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Somerset Academy Losee won 59-49 in their recent league bout against Southeast Career Tech (Las Vegas, NV)

Next up, the Desert Shields clash with the Desert Pines Jaguars (Las Vegas, NV) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 2. Cheyenne will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 58-8 non-league win over Eldorado (Las Vegas, NV).
