In Friday's non-league outing, the Sumter Gamecocks (Sumter, SC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Lakewood Gators (Sumter, SC), by a margin of 73-36.

The Gamecocks (4-0) will now prepare for their outing against Hartsville (Hartsville, SC). The Red Foxes go into the non-league outing with a 4-2 record. In their last outing, Hartsville smashed Darlington (Darlington, SC), 67-39, in a non-league outing.

The Gators now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Richland Northeast for a non-league outing on Friday, December 8.
