Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Woodstock Blue Streaks (Woodstock, IL) and the visiting Marengo Indians (Marengo, IL), saw Woodstock's basketball squad hold off Marengo by a count of 46-40.

With the victory, Woodstock upgrades its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Blue Streaks travel to North Boone (Poplar Grove, IL) to play the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 4. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 1-5.

Next up, the Indians play the Stillman Valley Cardinals (Stillman Valley, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Marengo will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
