The Christian County Colonels basketball team (Hopkinsville, KY), dropped 85-72 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Lyon County Lyons (Eddyville, KY)

The Lyons now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trigg County for a District 5 battle on Tuesday, December 13. Lyon County will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 84-82 non-league win over Hickman County (Clinton, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-0.

The Colonels (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Bowling Green (Bowling Green, KY). The Purples come into the non-league battle with a 5-0 record. In their last battle, Bowling Green prevailed over North Laurel (London, KY), 70-69, in a non-league battle.
