The Armuchee Indians (Rome, GA) basketball knocked off the host Gordon Central Warriors (Calhoun, GA), 41-28 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Indians (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Coosa (Rome, GA). The Eagles go into the A D1 Region 7 test with a 2-6 record. In their last test, Coosa went down by Woodland (Cartersville, GA), 36-28, in a non-league test.
The Warriors now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Murray County for a AA Region 7 test on Tuesday, December 13. Gordon Central will encounter a Indians squad coming off a 67-39 non-league loss to Elbert County (Elberton, GA). The Indians record now stands at 4-2.
