In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host King & Queen Central Royal Tigers basketball team scored a close 59-55 triumph over the Colonial Beach Drifters.
The Royal Tigers (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against West Point (West Point, VA). The Pointers go into the Tidewater contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, West Point was tipped by Warhill (Williamsburg, VA), 78-32, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Drifters battle the Mathews Blue Devils (Mathews, VA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 13. Colonial Beach will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Blue Devils go into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 67-63 non-league loss to Northampton (Eastville, VA).
