The Broadway Gobblers basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Page County Panthers to 47 in the Gobblers non-league triumph on Monday.

With the victory, Broadway upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Gobblers host Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA) to play the Wildcats in a Valley challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 0-4. Rockbridge County lost 61-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Alleghany (Covington, VA)

Next up, the Panthers play the East Rockingham Eagles (Elkton, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 13. Page County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 62-56 league win over Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, VA).
