The Cherokee Chiefs (Rogersville, TN) basketball knocked off the host Hancock County Indians (Sneedville, TN), 58-44 in Monday's non-league test.
The Chiefs (2-6) will now prepare for their test against North Greene (Greeneville, TN). The Huskies go into the non-league test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, North Greene notched a victory over Cosby (Cosby, TN), 60-49, in a non-league test.
The Indians now own a 0-9 record. They play next when they travel to Thomas Walker for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 12. Hancock County will encounter a Pioneers squad coming off a 73-50 non-league loss to Jenkins (Jenkins, KY). The Pioneers record now stands at 2-3.
