The Wakefield Memorial Warriors basketball team scored 76 points and restricted the visiting Arlington Spy Ponders to 63 in the Warriors league victory on Tuesday.
The Warriors now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Melrose for a Middlesex contest on Friday, December 15. Wakefield Memorial will battle a Red Raiders team coming off a 49-45 league loss to Belmont (Belmont, MA). The Red Raiders record now stands at 0-1.
The Spy Ponders (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Winchester (Winchester, MA). The Red & Black come into the Middlesex contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Winchester prevailed over Wilmington (Wilmington, MA), 64-63, in a league contest.
