Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Leake Central Gators (Carthage, MS) and the visiting Louisville Wildcats (Louisville, MS), saw Leake Central's basketball squad hold off Louisville by a count of 66-60.

With the victory, Leake Central upgrades its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Gators travel to Kosciusko (Kosciusko, MS) to play the Whippets in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 15. The Whippets come into the challenge with a record of 7-4. Kosciusko lost 49-40 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Joseph Catholic (Madison, MS)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Choctaw County Chargers (Ackerman, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 16. Louisville will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record.
