Oregon City Pioneers (Oregon City, OR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Nelson (Happy Valley, OR), 68-65 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Oregon City upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Roosevelt (Portland, OR) to play the Roughriders in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Roughriders go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Roosevelt won 54-48 in their recent non-league bout against Summit (Bend, OR)

Next up, the play the Southridge Skyhawks (Beaverton, OR) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Nelson will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Skyhawks go into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 116-65 non-league win over South Eugene (Eugene, OR).
