In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Daniel Boone Trailblazers (Gray, TN) basketball squad nipped the visiting Sullivan East Patriots (Bluff City, TN), by a margin of 88-84.

The Trailblazers (4-5) will now prepare for their outing against Gate City (Gate City, VA). The Blue Devils go into the non-league outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Gate City was tipped by Central Wise (Norton, VA), 74-44, in a league outing.

The Patriots now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Elizabethton for a 3A District 1 outing on Friday, January 5.
