With the victory, Smithson Valley improves its record to 6-7 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Seguin (Seguin, TX) to confront the Matadors in a 5A Region IV District 26 challenge on Saturday, December 16. The Matadors come into the challenge with a record of 4-14. Seguin lost 51-28 in their recent league challenge against Pieper (San Antonio, TX)

Next up, the Antlers confront the Canyon Cougars (New Braunfels, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 26 challenge, on Friday, December 15. Tivy will attempt to improve on its 10-3 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 50-28 league win over Veterans Memorial (San Antonio, TX).
