The Smithsburg Leopards (Smithsburg, MD) basketball felled the host Williamsport Wildcats (Williamsport, MD), 54-40 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Leopards (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Catoctin (Thurmont, MD). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Catoctin was beaten by North Hagerstown (Hagerstown, MD), 79-48, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Boonsboro for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 2.
