In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Cass Tech Technicians basketball team scored a good 48-35 triumph over the Mumford Mustangs.
The Technicians (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Heritage (Saginaw, MI). The Hawks go into the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Heritage topped Garber (Essexville, MI), 77-46, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Mustangs battle the King Crusaders (Detroit, MI) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 16. Mumford will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Crusaders go into the contest with a 3-1 record after their 55-14 non-league loss to Renaissance (Detroit, MI).
