In Thursday's non-league contest, the host East Rockingham Eagles basketball team scored a big 62-37 win over the Luray Bulldogs.
The Eagles (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, VA). The Blue Streaks come into the Valley contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Harrisonburg smashed Staunton (Staunton, VA), 42-40, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Strasburg Rams (Strasburg, VA) in a Bull Run contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Luray will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Rams come into the contest with a 3-2 record after their 54-47 non-league loss to James Wood (Winchester, VA).
