Huntland Hornets (Huntland, TN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cascade Champions (Wartrace, TN), 62-32 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Huntland upgrades its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Cannon County (Woodbury, TN) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Monday, December 19. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 3-3.

Next up, the Champions play the Lincoln County Falcons (Fayetteville, TN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Cascade will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 9-1 record after their 51-46 non-league win over Franklin County (Winchester, TN).
