WACO Warriors (Wayland, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Highland Huskies (Riverside, IA), 49-20 in a non-league bout.

With the win, WACO upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Warriors host Sigourney (Sigourney, IA) to clash with the Savages in a non-league bout on Monday, December 19. The Savages go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Sigourney lost 46-32 in their recent league bout against Montezuma (Montezuma, IA)

Next up, the Huskies clash with the Wapello Indians (Wapello, IA) in a SEI - North game, on Friday, December 16. Highland will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record.
