Hudson Pirates (Hudson, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting South Hardin Tigers (Eldora, IA), 45-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hudson upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Pirates host Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA) to clash with the Falcons in a North Iowa Cedar - East bout on Friday, December 16. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 5-0. Aplington-Parkersburg won 49-47 in their recent non-league bout against Jesup (Jesup, IA)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons (Parkersburg, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. South Hardin will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
