The Wellsville Eagles basketball team scored 43 points and held the host Osawatomie Trojans to 31 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Burlington for a Pioneer contest on Friday, December 16. Wellsville will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 41-34 non-league win over Iola (Iola, KS). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-3.

The Trojans (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Anderson County (Garnett, KS). The Bulldogs enter the Pioneer contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Anderson County was defeated by Louisburg (Louisburg, KS), 38-31, in a non-league contest.
